On the Precipice of the Social Credit System
by Pastor Doug Cox
It seems as we move forward in time towards the coming of the Lord, there are two kinds of people. Those lining up to follow deception and those who are getting to know God better and what belongs to them in Christ. Daniel 11:32 is prophetic of our times. It says, “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he (the antichrist) shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”
My jaw has dropped open so many times as Rebekan and I did research in preparation for tonight’s Wednesday Night Empowered service. Last time we met we looked at how the European Union is getting ready to put an army together. We also talked about how the Third Jewish Temple could be built at any time. Both the army and the Temple have unique parts to play in Last Days events. Tonight, we are going to look at the Social Credit System that is starting to gain influence in the world around us, faster than you realize.
Following is part of an article by Al Fenwick, contributor to Hult.edu website. His experience is an example of how the Social Credit System has crept into our everyday lives and should make us think.
He writes. “A few weeks ago, I ordered an Uber to take me to London City Airport. On the way, we got stuck in some heavy traffic, and I happened to strike up an amazing conversation with my driver. When the driver dropped me off, he said, “I am giving you five stars”—the highest ranking on Uber’s passenger review system. Although I don’t usually rank my Uber experiences, I reciprocated with five stars as I felt it had been a meaningful encounter, too. But, it did get me thinking. How will I behave the next time I get into a situation in which I can be publicly ranked as a user, based on my interactions and behaviors? And what are the consequences of my social score on the perceptions and behaviors of others towards me?” (To read more go to https://www.hult.edu/blog/your-social-credit-score/)
Like I said this reoccurring, normalized encounter in the process of everyday business should make us think. Realize it or not the powers that be, including the U.N. are amping up the pressure to control how the population behaves and what the consequences of our behavior should be. This is just the tip of the iceberg and is the lead into more alarming information you will learn about tonight. I hope you will come so you can be informed and empowered for the new world that is unfolding right in front of you.
