No Exclusions

Betrayal, rebellion and murder, those are the publicized sins of Judas and Barabbas, men who were intricately related with the death of Jesus. Jesus was willing to pay for the sins of these men and all who had gone before Him and all who would come after Him. We all need cleansing from sin. Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. There are no exclusions in “all”. Romans 5:12 says “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-”
Fortunately, there is hope for deliverance from our sins of betrayal, rebellion and even murder, 1 John 3:15 says, “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” Jesus paid for all sin. Romans 5:17 says, “For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.”
God’s wonderful grace and gift of righteousness will make us able to live in and triumph over sin through Jesus! This is amazing news, we can be free from the torment of sin in our lives, we may still have to deal with the consequences of our sinful behavior but we can be declared clean before God when we receive the gift Jesus purchased for us through His humiliating, and excruciating death on the cross.
