Thanksgiving gatherings can be funny!

Holidays like Thanksgiving can be funny things. It’s funny that some people who never visit relatives or want anything to do with them during the rest of the year, look forward to Thanksgiving. The reason? Not to see the relatives, but to eat mom’s pumpkin pie. This leads us into a clearer understanding of why football was really invented. It was so family members can have something to do besides talk to each other after dinner is over.

Jana and I want you all to know that we are thankful to serve the Lord along side of you all. We pray for God to pour out His grace and favor on you. We ask Him to bless you in your relationships with people and your families (and that pumpkin pie as well). And may we all be mindful of the great Apostle Paul’s words. “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians 2:6-7
